Congratulations Roger on a remarkably professional and informative site. I am amazed at the volume of data you have skilfully organised, seemingly with great ease and particularly appreciative of the Cox/Mitchell research. The Cox families proving quite complicated and that you have managed to find earlier generations in Gloucestershire is very exciting. Also fascinated with the Hunt & Winterbotham Cloth Company history, its origins in the Cotswolds in the 16th Century and that it is still trading today is astonishing. Would also like to thank you for your generosity in sharing this wonderful site with us.

Patricia, many thanks for your lovely comments. I have thoroughly enjoyed researching with you. Your knowledge of the Cox families in South Australia has been invaluable in bringing all this data together.

Thank you, Roger, for your fabulous site. Through it, and through your painstaking research I now have knowledge of my family tree as far back as 1663. I have learned some fascinating things about them and it is a source of great pleasure to look through the various branches. Thank you also for finding photos and adding my photos, nicely restored! Your hard work is very much appreciated. Debbie

Many thanks Roger, a superb site.
I have spent many a happy hour filling in the gaps in my own Winsor family tree. I now realise we originated in Plymouth, strange that I have moved back to this part of Devon.

What an amazing site - I am just surprised that not more of your visitors have the courtesy to sign the guest book after all your hard work. My husband is a descendant of the Langabeers and I have submitted some extra details for you to add to your site. Just know that all your hard work is really appreciated. Well done.

Many thanks for your kind comments Sue. It's always good to have your work appreciated.

I have been researching the family history for a couple of years and have only just found your web site. I was impressed with the quality of your data, so many are poor in this respect.
I also found it easy to navigate.
I am happy to share what I have on the Mitchell family. I am a direct decendant of Nicholas Mitchell d 1761, Thomas bap 1709, William bap 1759, Daniel bap 1791 etc etc.

Congratulations on your great site. Found it when looking for Doddemeades from Mells. I am searching for the baptism of James Doddemeade of Baltonsborough - thought to have been done in Mells.

A terrific site. Went into it as I am trying to glean information about my family. Grandparents etc., were Mitchells, lived in India, but I could find no connections within your site. But a great site you have.

I was researching Beaconsfield for my family history researches and where I lived from 1972-86 and chanced upon the lovely account of SEELEYS Farm, a house I loved. I lived at EGHAMS Farm on the Forty Green Road (it was a cherry farm and a fraction of the cherry trees did survive into the 1990s, their Spring blossom a reminder) not far from SEELEYS. An avenue of mature elms at SEELEYS on the public footpath running by the front of the house were a wonder; they died from Dutch Elm disease. The long lawn of the farm reaching to the Penn Road was covered in an uplifting mass of daffodils; now it is covered in a rather poor unsuitable bungalow development. I was interested in the PITCHER family in your website but only knew vaguely the husband and wife who eventually sold it for development. The b&w photos of SEELEYS bring back happy memories. I think the PITCHERs had no children? I believe the PITCHERs owned Beale & Froude butchers in 8 Burkes Court, Beaconsfield - now closed. I was interested to read about WOOSTER. A Mrs. Moira A. WOOSTER, widow of farmer Geoffrey (died from a heart attack in 1996) who lived at Meadle, near Princes Risborough, now lives in Princes Risborough having sold the farm and the barns. They may be related to the WOOSTERs on your website?

I have just come accross your family tree site and are quite blown away with all your research you have done. Phyllis Gladys BASSETT was my grandmother so to read what you have written and the gaps you have filled in for us is amazing.
A few of us family members have been plodding on trying to tie up ends for years.
Thank-you for passing on your research.
Regards
Debbie
